We learned that to survive, grow, and reproduce the animals need….Food, shelter, water, a mate, and space
To survive, grow, and reproduce the plants need…Water, nutrients, space, air, sunlight, pollinators and seed dispersers
The plants and animals in our schoolyard DEPEND on each other for survival. Plants need animals and animals need plants.
Today we went outside to observe again.
Today’s Focus Questions: Do other habitats have diversity of organisms (different living things)? Do other habitats also show interdependence? How?
Task: observe in a woodland habitat. Record what living organisms you observe.
Next we will be looking at our observations and using them to explain examples of interdependence within this habitat.
